At school we are currently "learning" how to make a website. Now, this is an art class, so the level of html is quite limited. Actually, it's quite non-existant. The only thing we've been doing is working in Dreamweaver "design" mode. Basicly pulling tables and frames around to where you want them and editing font in the text document, in the end creating
huge html files. I can't really blame the teacher though, she knows her stuff, but this is only a 8 hour class designed for people with no previous knowledge of html.
In a week or so we are supposed to have finished a web page to show her. The requirements are of course very low, but as I have some experience with html I was thinking I'd take this opportunity to actually make a fully functional web portofolio. It's mostly for fun, but I'm also applying for a visual designs (or something like that) in about a month and showing off a finished web page is a good way to get in.
Anyways, the page is currently under construction at
snorre.latestdot.net (a free web hosting service, no ads). At the moment there's nothing but the layout up and only the "digital" and "home" buttons work but I would appreciate if anyone would check it out and drop a comment or two.
